Don't Mess with the NYS!!!

OK, so I was going a couple miles-an-hour over the speed limit in the 20mph EZ Pass lane and the NYS Thruway Authority suspended my EZ Pass until August! I was going 24 in a 20 mph lane... big deal right??? Well I guess it is because I got a letter from NYS telling me I had to take my EZ Pass out of my car and drive through the ticket booths now like a shnook! Grrrrrrrrrr

Lemonade Stands Still Exist!

Alex talked me into helping her set up a lemonade stand a few weeks ago and I have to say, it was a smashing success! She must have made 6 dollars that day, which just abut covered the cost for the lemonade, but she had a lot of fun doing it! The neighbors seemed to get a kick out of it too.

Heyyyyyyy........

My cousin Laura got a chance to hang with the Fonz! I haven't gotten the whole story from her yet, but they certainly do look chummy! Now that's cool!

Wine Podcast

Just wanted to post an informative and a very nutty Wine educational site that I am currently enjoying.

Go to tv.winelibrary.com and see what craziness is going on this week!

Those April (Snow) Showers...

I thought we'd be over the snow by now, but here are a couple shots from early and mid April to dispel that misconception!

On the road...

I saw this broken down house coming back from Albion so I grabbed a shot of it. Click on it for a larger view.

Sanjaya

OK, so I voted 3 times for Sanjaya on American Idol last night! What's the big deal?

Yes, he's horrible, but he's so entertaining and the sad truth is that even the good ones on the show this season are terrible. No, I don't think it's going to skew the numbers overall in the show and cause the better singers to suffer. If they are good, they will still win. It's just nice to at least have something (Sanjaya) entertaining on the show!

Blogger test

Just wanted to see how this site worked and if this was any better than the Apple software... so far so good! I just hate the word "blog" so I'm going to just say "log".

Here's a shot of Sam from Dress up day to test the image uploading feature.
